Buns

Today was bolludagur 'bun day' somebody translated it, the last Monday before lent. Today Icelanders, at least, stuff themselves with cream, chocolate and jam filled buns and children whip their parents' asses with homemade rods and scream 'Bolla! Bolla!' like lunatics. According to wikipedia, this custom is imported from scandinavia. Go figure.
